Botanist
to offer springtime gardening tips
at the Laurel Lake Spring Open House - April 20 & 22

Retirement Community in Hudson will open its doors to the public during the
annual Spring Open House on Tuesday, April 20 and Thursday, April
22, starting at 2 p.m.
Local botanist Charlie Robinson, an Ohio Master Certified Nurseryman and owner of Robinson Lawn & Garden Center in Hudson, will present a different springtime gardening talk on each day:
Tuesday, April 20 - "Gourmet Vegetable Gardening"
Thursday, April 22 - "Spring Forward: New Plant Varieties and Ideas"
Charlie has owned and operated Robinson Lawn & Garden Center since 1982. His latest venture is organic gardening and his produce can be found in fine restaurants and the Hudson Farmer's Market.
Visitors will have the opportunity to learn about the active, diverse lifestyle enjoyed by the people who live at Laurel Lake.
Light refreshments and tours will be offered. Several Laurel Lake home styles will be showcased, ranging from smart apartment designs to an attached single family home. Retirement counselors will be available to answer questions.Seating is limited and reservations are required.
