Laurel Lake Travel Club plans 2009 getaway vacations

March 4, 2009 – That fun group of adventure-seekers, the Laurel Lake Travel Club, will soon pack their bags and head out to explore new destinations in 2009.

A DAY IN AMISH COUNTRYMay 1, 2009 $59 per person
Step back in time to the 1850’s with a visit to Baltic Mills to see flour made, shop at Lehman’s Hardware, lunch in an Amish home, and enjoy cheese shopping and wine tasting at the Breitenbach Winery. Reserve by March 27, 2009; a Tours ‘N Tours trip.

THE WILDS AND HOPALONG CASSIDYMay 19, 2009 $59 per person
Marvel at the vast beauty of the 10,000 acre wild animal preserve in southern Ohio, known as The Wilds. Witness African, Asian and North American species roaming freely, and explore the Wilds Education Center.
