GOTTA SING?
Laurel Lake Encore Chorale now enrolling singers for 2009 season

July 27, 2009Whether you’re an experienced singer, an enthusiastic amateur, or have never sung outside the shower, YOU are invited to join the Laurel Lake Encore Chorale.

Invite your fellow music lovers to these fun weekly rehearsals of seasonal and holiday music at Laurel Lake. Designed for adults 55 and older, the Chorale sings three and four-part choral arrangements in a wide variety of musical styles, and performs two major concerts each year.

Participation is free and open to the public. No auditions are required. Rehearsals are held on Tuesdays at 3 p.m. at Laurel Lake Retirement Community, 200 Laurel Lake Drive in Hudson. The first rehearsal of the new season is September 8, but singers can join at any time.

Classes are instructive as well as enjoyable. Participants will learn proper breathing techniques and how to improve their voice through correct tone production.

To register, call director Donna Anderson at 330-655-1436 or email info@laurellake.org.
